Woodpecker Study #11
this proud ceramic woodpecker is crafted with a muted oatmeal glaze, a color selected for its soft finish and unexpected specks of earth. This wild bird is perched on a piece of reclaimed natural drift wood. The modern styling of the woodpecker paired with the rustic natural wood creates a mid-century meets American Craftsman appeal.
~~This work is a combination of ceramic and natural wood mediums supported by a SOLID metal base.
