Thunder Road Trio
While fly fishing in Rocky Mountain National Park I noticed the skies in the distance becoming dark and heavy. So I packed up my gear and headed out of the valley. Just as I got to the car and out of my waders the sky opened up and I was in the middle of a dark thunderstorm. My ride out of the park was slow and cautious as the thunder boomed along the mountain range. I painted this trio as soon as I returned. I couldn’t wait until I could get my feelings on canvas. (And yes I am a Bruce Springsteen fan!).
This trio consists of two original 8”x8” canvases and one original 8”x10” canvas.
