I created this painting from a photograph I took on my way to Steamboat Springs Colorado to fly fish in the Yampa River. This pastoral view stopped me in my tracks when I saw it The mountains, the sky, the meandering river as it passed by a beautiful tall oak tree. I used bright shades of violet, cerulean, light green and deep purple.
This painting is oil on a 16x20x1/8 canvas board. Framed in a solid maple floating frame.
