Fall Begins On The Au Sable River
I painted this image of the Au Sable River in Michigan as I was out fly fishing in early fall. I often try to stop fishing and take a moment to look around me and admire the splendor of the river. This day on the river was absolutely perfect. Blue skies, subtle breezes, billowy clouds and just the beginnings of fall in the distance.
This is oil on board and measures 12x16. Framed in a solid maple floating frame.
